The Forgotten Civilization
Thursday, May 1st, 2008Archaeology in America is in its infant stage, still they have found out a civilization which was on par with excellence. This civilization was known as Mayas. They were far ahead of the Egyptians and the Greeks. They had the knowledge of zero and had built impressive architecture. All this was gazed to the ground before Columbus discovered America. The world is still waiting for documents to prove that such a civilization existed and also to know how those people built such a magnificent civilization where even today , life is an unending struggle for survival. How was it that the people of stone age was able to build such a beautiful and flourishing civilization and how it got destroyed still remains a mystery.
