Ancient Charriot Unearthed
Thursday, July 3rd, 2008On 22nd November 2007, archaeologists working in Bulgaria have unearthed a chariot made of bronze. They claim that the chariot belongs to 2nd century AD. This chariot has been found a place which is believed to be the burial ground of Thracian people who lived there between 4000 BC and 300 AD. This chariot has four wheels and is rich ornamental framework. The chief archaeologist believes that the chariot should have belonged to a rich Thracian man and it was buried with him after his death according to the thracians’ belief that belongings accompany the dead into the afterlife.
